Relaxing looks a lot different than it did in the Victorian era
If you’d booked in 150 years ago, we’d have plunged you into a bath of freezing spring water. Then hooked you up to the most dubious well-being machinery imaginable.
So, it’s fair to say we’ve updated the experience of the Victorian Baths a little since then. The pool? Not too hot, not too cold. Then there’s the sauna, steam room and jacuzzi; fluffy bath robes and slippers – a slice of indulgence, by Victorian standards.
GOOD TO KNOW
- You will need to pre-book your session. Sessions are two hours.
- Available for over 18’s only.
- Fluffy gowns, slippers, teas and coffee, juices and use of our facilities are all included in the price.
- Slots available to book from 6:45am.
- Saunas, steam rooms and spa baths are open.
- Remember your £1 for the lockers.
